As this is the first League Table update, it seems like a good time to mention how the League Tables are sorted, and how that will affect who will be the winners at the end of the season.

Here’s a quote from the league rules:

6. The object of the two League competitions is to score the most number of points. The number of points each team wins during the season will determine League positions with the highest at the top and the others following in descending order.
7. Should two or more teams score the same number of points the following criteria shall determine the final positions:-
   1. Total number of “Legs” won
   2. Total number of matches won
   3. “Legs” won on a head to head basis
8. If teams are still level after the above criteria has been applied then teams will play against each other to decide the final positions.

The rules refer to points, and currently there are no complex rules on points – it’s simply 1 point for every game won. So to win a League your primary focus should be to win the most games (referred to as Legs in the rules). Basically the number of matches won only matters in the event of a tie.
